The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has decided a revision in the syllabus of the subject ECONOMICS for the greater interest of the student. In this post I am gonna provide you with details of the revised syllabus of ECONOMICS for Class 11 and 12-AHSEC.
Class 11 Economics Latest Syllabus 2020
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has revised the syllabus of class 11 economics which is given below. This new syllabus shall be effective from 2020-21. The entire syllabus has been divided into two parts
1) INTRODUCTION MICROECONOMICS
2) STATISTICS FOR ECONOMICS

Class 12 Economics Latest Syllabus 2020
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has revised the syllabus of class 12 economics which is given below. This new syllabus shall be effective from 2021-22. Apart from changing the syllabus of the AHSEC class 12 Economics the AHSEC has introduced PROJECT WORK for 20 marks which means theory will be asked for 80 marks. For student’s convenience, the AHSEC has provided the topics for the project report. The entire syllabus has been divided into two parts:
1) INTRODUCTORY MACROECONOMICS
2) INDIAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

- Government Budget.
- Poverty in India.
- Employment and other related issues in India.
- Environmental challenges facing India (may be a problem pertaining to the locality).
- Global Warming.
